Every piece of Nuthatch Pottery is handmade with love and an appreciation for playing in the mud

Finding a medium and a personal style as an artist takes time. I should know--I've tried it all: watercolors, acrylic painting, colored pencils, printmaking, and needlecraft. When I see something cool, my first thought is: “How was that made?” Followed quickly by, “Could I make something like that?” I always have the same answer. “I'm pretty sure I can.” That’s how I ended up with every art supply you can imagine.

But my new love--pottery-- is a little different. I can't seem to get enough of it. Right now I'm still in the “try everything" stage. Wheel throwing, slab building, textures, surface decorations and sculpting give me a lot of areas to explore and I'm happy to be able to share my journey with you.
